Tthe tall trees and serene lake can make for a lush and comfortable backdrop for any natural wedding.  The area is also host to a variety of parks.  Contact the park administration to find out that they allow weddings in these public spaces.  You may also want to expand your search into other areas of Tompkins County and New York to find the greatest selection of wedding ceremony locations and wedding reception halls. By searching each of the neighborhoods (Hamlet of Forest Home, Village of Lansing, Hamlet of South Hill, and the Village of Cayuga Heights), you can find the most ideal environment for your wedding and reception.  Depending on the season, you may also want to plan for both indoor and outdoor ceremony location.  This can make the event independent of the weather and allow you to have a peaceful and enjoyable wedding ceremony regardless of what happens with the weather.
