The Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins is truly a four-season
destination and offers--within a five-mile radius--an array of
activities from hiking and biking to snowmobiling and cross-
country skiing.
As an AAA Diamond Member, we offer seventeen private Glacier
National Park Cabin Rentals and Lodge Room B&B
accommodation.
The Flathead National Forest lies right outside our back door
providing miles of trails for cross-country skiers and
snowmobilers, and ample opportunities for fishing and hunting.
Hiking is always available, whether in the forest or throughout
Glacier National Park. Nearby Kalispell, Whitefish and Bigfork
have plenty of boutiques and antique shops to browse through
and enjoy.
In the Summer months, there are watersports including rafting
on the rivers or shooting down the slides at the nearby Big Sky
Waterpark. Regardless of the weather, season, or activity there
is always spectacular scenery and plenty of photo opportunities.
The Main Lodge--originally built in 1907 and updated in 2003--
provides classic ambiance with modern amenities, 3400 square
feet of rustic charm and still boasts its original over-sized natural
stone fireplace and lodgepole pine architecture.
Combined with our outstanding staff, the Historic Tamarack
Lodge and Cabins provides a positive memorable experience for
visitors to the Glacier Park area and we look forward to
welcoming new friends and old.
