Thayer's was built in 1895, as a Rail Road Hotel using funding from the Soo Line Railroad, by
Gus and Caroline Thayer. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It's
been a haunted hotel for a very long time.
We are available for your small wedding 365 days a year. We offer many
options for weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals. Thayer's
B&B is a graceful, elegant and private Old West Victorian setting.
Thayer's is located in Annandale, MN just minutes West of the Twin Cities
and about 35 minutes South-East of St. Cloud, Minnesota in the "Heart of
the Lakes".

ceremony and whether you choose the living room, dining room or our
gardens - your photographs will be stunning!
*Having Sharon Gammell officiate your wedding is pretty cool, she is
a psychic and a minister!
*We do not have a liquor license. You are welcome to bring in wine,
for your personal use, to be enjoyed in your guest room.
*Smoking is acceptable outside in designated areas.
*We are happy to accommodate you with non-alcoholic champagnes and
other non-alcoholic beverages.
*Receptions are available
*You are welcome to bring in your own licensed and bonded caterer
*Sharon Gammell and her professional staff, are experienced in
hospitality; they pledge to use all of their combined experience and
knowledge to make sure that your day is the best.
We are happy to offer Gluten Free and Dairy Free menus along with other special dietary needs?
Thayer's Dining room is the perfect place to have a private event for a
holiday celebration, club meeting, family reunion, Anniversary
celebration, Bridal or baby shower!
A lovely place to rent for Rehearsals, Grooms dinner, Proms, or business
gatherings.We offer an option to rent the entire house and have wedding packages available.
